Postcard from Split, Croatia
Updated: May 17
In this episode of ExtraVirgin Food and Travel podcast, we hear from travel and food journalist Belinda Luksic, who left her home in Australian in December to live in Split, in Croatia.
From her adopted town, Belinda shares what's so special about Split, its beautiful coastline and nearby islands, the ancient palace and the atmospheric old town, packed with cafes, galleries and homely restaurants.
She tells us about her favourite places to eat and drink, how she likes to spend her weekend and tips only a local would know.
So whether you're planning a trip or just armchair travelling, sit back, relax and enjoy this postcard from Split.
Belinda Luksic began her career as a celebrity agent, but quickly found her forte as a travel writer, journalist and photographer. She has travelled to all seven continents and has been known to eat ten meals in a day and “suffer” through as many massages to get a story. At least that’s what she dines out on. Her work is published in print, online and magazines both in Australia and overseas. She currently resides in Split where she spends her days soaking up the sun at various beachfront cafes.
