Our guide is Erica Firpo, an Italo-American travel and lifestyle journalist and editor, who lives in Rome and shares with us some of her tips about the city, including her favourite places to eat and drink.
Erica is a podcaster at 'Ciao Bella,' and editor of content of ISSIMO, an Italy-focused lifestyle platform. She's also contributing editor to Fathom and a regular contributor to the Washington Post, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, BBC Travel, The Guardian, and more, covering travel, art, design, culture, hotels, food and wine. As author, she has penned over a dozen travel books for Fodor’s, Insight Guides and Lonely Planet.
She has called Rome, "home" for the past 18 years and shows us around 'her' Rome, pointing out its ancient architecture, history and cultural delights and epicurean riches.

She reveals some of the surprises of Rome, like its futuristic architecture, its large green spaces and famous artworks found in unlikely places.
